The principle of Lab Fluid bed dryer is to create a fluidized state of turbulence in a wet product by means of hot air flowing in upward direction and to dry the wet mass to the final required degree in a careful manner. Here wet mass is transferred in to fluidized state by hot air passing through it, and this hot air surrounds the mass completely thus the heat transfer rate is very high and temperature distribution is also uniform throughout the bed. High production rates can be achieved. Since the product is in close contact with the hot air all the time for a short duration the physical and chemical property of the wet mass to be dried remains unchanged. Thus, this dryer can also be used effectively for temperature sensitive products. Due to movement of the wet mass during fluidization lump formation and case hardening etc. is minimized.
These types of dryers are not suitable for liquid or pasty material.

Drive motors, electrical control panel and control station are supplied in non-flameproof as well as flame-proof construction, as per client’s requirement.
Fluid bed equipment can be converted into bottom spray/ Wurster spray by placing spraying gun at bottom in air distributing plate which will give tangential spraying flow for coating which coats faster and equally.
